Who’s behind these unique wooden panels? – Emotionwalls team
We at Emotionwalls have all come into contact with each other earlier through the circle of acquaintances. With this is mind, we have created a highly functional team. We decided to come out of the closet and introduce ourselves to you for the first time. Everyone has written down with their own words what they like about their job.
Martin Möll - Installation manager. I have always liked the practical and theoretical side of work. None of the customer’s wishes are left unfulfilled due to impracticality or incompetence. I heard about Emotionwalls through mutual friend, and since I was planning to move to the city, I was welcomed with open arms. I have always enjoyed working with wood and knew that my knowledge and skills would be of great use. I also like challenges, and there is no shortage of them in this company. As an installation manager, I also train our team members myself if necessary.
Martin Ermann - Production worker. Most of all, I like the “hands free” attitude. All employees have the opportunity to try new things in their field. In this company, I have discovered that I have a talent for artistic thinking. I see that, to my surprise, I am very good at different laying techniques. What I like most is that I am responsible for all the products that need to be stacked according to size. The added value is that each order is unique.
Uko Lilleorg - Production worker. Sauna stage specialist. An acquaintance was offered a job at Emotionwalls, he couldn’t accept the offer at the time, but he knew I was looking for a job and I got in touch through him. I contacted Guido and got the job. I like working with wood, like all of us here at Emotionwalls. I feel good working with wood and I can constantly improve myself with new knowledge. I can contribute to the development of new products and the work is never boring.
Harri Põder - Production worker. Emotionwalls rubic cube expert. I also came to work through acquaintances. I’ve been friend with Guido for as long as I can remember, and at one point he offered me a job, which I immediately accepted. I have worked with wood all my life. Since I am mostly behind the saw, I like that I can see what product is needed and can adjust when something needs to be added to the stock. I keep an eye on the warehouse so that nothing is missing too much at once.
Oscar Koch - Production manager. I really like working with wood. When I was at the job interview, I immediately noticed a good group of people, they matched with my vibe and thoughts. I feel an opportunity for development while working here. There is a lot of creative work and it is not assembly line of work. The work itself is challenging and interesting on daily basis. If I have an idea, it is listened to and taken into account.
Spike - Quality control and production managers little but agile helper. If before working here I had too much energy, then now after joining the team in Emotionwalls, I sleep like an angel.
Jaanus Selmet - Installer. Before Emotionwalls, I was mainly dealing with the construction and installation of saunas. I have been doing woodwork for over 10 years. I like that due to the rapid growth of Emotionwalls there’s a clear possibility to manage product installation both in Estonia and abroad. The work is varied and constantly developing. For my part, I feel that everyone in the company is supportive and I see an opportunity for development here.
Guido Potter - CEO. Half of my life I have been involved in the construction and development of saunas. In order to provide added value to saunas, we started cooperation with Emotionwalls. After some time, it became clear to me that the idea of Emotionwalls and this company is much bigger than just a sauna. I bought this company in 2021 August. By now, my team and I have improved the product range and purpose of use. It is not only a sauna product, but furnishing element that is suitable for interiors, public spaces and saunas. In my work, I have realized that the most important thing is communication, accuracy and determination. I have built my team so that all members know their responsibilities and goals. Always open-minded about how the company can be developed and increased.
Karl Kalme - Sales manager. I came to Emotionwalls thanks to a friend who already works in this company. I was looking for new challenges. Heard that the company was seeking for a sales person so meeting with the company manager was arranged and I managed to join the team. In my work, I like constant new challenges, communication with foreign clients and trips to abroad, learning their culture and helping to sell our product on the market. During the short time that I have been in this company, I have been able to visit Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden and Bulgaria for product introduction. Plans for the future are big, and desire to fulfill them is even bigger!
Triin Lehtmets - Office manager. When Guido brought Emotionwalls a year ago and began to vigorously promote it, we got to talking about accounting and office management, and when he mentioned that he would like an assistant in his company, my eyes immediately lit up after hearing this, it would open up a lot of new and necessary knowledge and opportunities. I told Guido about my idea that I could help him a little in my free time if he needed help. From this conversation and decision started something so much bigger, which today can be called a well functioning team. Why an office job? Precisely because I am fascinated by new challenges, I like numbers and I want to constantly improve myself.
Kelly Põldra - Marketing manager. I got into Emotionwalls because they saw a great potential in me as a marketing specialist, and thanks to me, social media and marketing have come to life. I was given the task of introducing our company to people so that we would be even better known on the market. I work for it every day and it is a great challenge. I like to communicate with the marketers of other companies, to cooperate and to come up with new campaigns. Working at Emotionwalls, I have the opportunity to see installation with my own eyes, as well as the result and capture these moments. There is also an opportunity to introduce the products/company and think along about new proposals. It is a very exciting experience for me. Here at the company, opinions and suggestions are taken into account, which is very important to me.
